The purpose of this post is to address the common problems newcomers of CC run and what they (YOU) can do to avoid it. First off, let me start off by saying, there is no such thing as a get rich quick scheme. So if you joined Cash Crate thinking you'll hit a gold mine, you've signed up for the wrong reasons. So let's begin...

1. I don't want to give out my mailing address.
Fair enough, I feel the same way. Honestly, you don't get a lot of mail. A lot of companies are switching to paperwork online, saves them money, postage, and not to mention trees. You'll get a lot of spam, which is why I recommend signing up for a lot of emails. My advice? Gmail works like a charm and does a wonderful blocking off spam. Make sure you use a separate email for spam mail.

2. I don't want to give out my number.
Tell me about it, who enjoys picking up the phone to listen to an annoying telemarketer try to pitch their latest offer. If you're wary about giving your number, then don't give it! Many times you won't have to. If there is not a gold astrick by the phone number, don't give it out. Now if you are interested in an offer, go ahead and put your number in.

3. I'm filling out the surveys, but nothing is pending.
You know what they say, patience is a virtue. One of the disadvantages of cashcrate is that there is not an exact science in figuring out how long it takes surveys to credit. It takes companies up to a week to credit free offers, and up to two weeks to credit free trials. As a matter of fact, I signed up for Block Buster, and I'm still waiting for the darn thing to credit. This brings me to my next point, sign up for offers you are only INTERESTED in. Don't bother get trial samples of something you're not going to use. Sometimes even when you do everything right, such as clear cookies, make new emails, give out accurate information, it still doesn't work. Cashcrate can't control when an advertising company gives credit. The site does their best to recruit advertisers that will pay its members. Remember, you'll go through months where you'll do good, and you'll go through months where you don't.

4. I have no idea how to fill out the surveys, and nothing seems to be working.
Take heed to my advice, ASK FOR HELP. Support does their best to help. In addition, ask your referrer. If you're reffer was smart, he/she should have sent you a welcome message. If you did not get a message, join the forums. Become involved with the members, they are more than willing to help, and they will accept your concerns with open arms.

5. I haven't gotten my check yet.
Again, be patient. Give it two weeks from the process dates. If there is no check, contact support. Remember if you have 50 or more active referrals, your check gets sent out on the first of the month. If you're a bronze members (less than 50, checks get processed on the 15th of every month)

6. Its wasting my time and I don't like wasting my time
This is the perfect site to make money if you're really not doing much of anything. Think of it as a nice way to pay for some of your expenses. The mistake I think a lot of people have with this site is they think it will replace their income. If you're watching t.v. whip out that laptop and do the surveys while watching out you're favorite t.v. show. If you're studying, take a break and fill out some surveys. You're getting paid for each survey, and trust me, the cents add up. DON'T GIVE UP.

7. They're asking me to buy something.
No they are not. The purpose of the advertisement is not to rob you of your riches. People who fail to read the fine print fall victim to that. The point is to have average consumers like you look at potential offers you MIGHT be interested. If you want, sign up, if not, keep on clicking next, skip, or no thanks. That's what I do. I haven't incurred any charges besides the charges I, myself, had decided to make. Also, remember to read the small fine pr
int. It will save you in the long run.

8. I'm getting a lot of junk phone calls.
As I said, nobody likes a telemarketer, but remember from a previous point, you can CHOOSE when you give out your number. If you don't want to give it out, skip that offer. If you have to give it out, and want the money, well then, deal with the calls. Its as simple as that. Don't want any more calls, then tell the person not to call.

9. I signed up for a free trial of something and I got charged a fee of (insert number here)
Hmmm, did you read the fine print, if you did, you would know that you would have to cancel. I saw a great deal on the Pure minerals make up set. All that make up could have been mine for 1.00, with shipping for 7.95. I got pretty darn excited. That was until I read the small print at the bottom that said I had to cancel within two weeks if I was not happy with the product. On top of that, I would have to return the remaining unused makeup. YEAH RIGHT! At least I got saved from being charged 56 dollars every month. Please, know what trials you are signing up for, and what the cancellation policy is. Again, cash crate does not REQUIRIE you to join any of these programs unless you want to. You still get paid for looking at products and filling out surveys.

10. It is long and tedious and not worth my time.

I agree up to a certain point. You don't want to do surveys all day. This isn't a job, so don't treat it like one. Think of it as finding loose change lying around once you've cleaned up...think of it as A LOT of loose change. Only difference is when you do Cashcrte surveys, you're not working. If you're like me, you're probably watching t.v., talking on the phone to a friend that likes to jabber a lot, or checking email, all while filling out surveys. It's like getting paid for doing nothing
